Name: State of Palestine Leader: President Natalia "Palestine's Sunbird" Hayaat History: In January of 1974 a young female by the name of Natalia Hayaat, established a Guerrilla Organization with the goal of liberating Palestine and freeing it from the Ottoman Empire. Six years were devoted to developing what would be the new government of Palestine once it was free from the Ottoman Empire that occupied the country currently. While developing the governments structure and political boundaries the Organization was also simultaneously preparing Palestinian people for combat against the Empire. The Guerrilla Organization recruited males and females privately through the many towns, villages, and cities within the area. These males and females were then trained as best they could for covert operations that typically would involve sabotage or ambushes. The Organization received aid from various sources within the population and even some influential people in the Ottoman Empire who wish to see it fall. From January to Early April of 1980, Natalia Hayaat had been given the name "Palestine's Sunbird", a bird with national significance and she was seen as the one to lead the Palestine people to freedom. She began her campaign that had been planned for six years. Her Guerrilla Organization received the orders to carry out their objectives simultaneously all across Palestine with the Palestinian people at her side. Quickly after, news of Palestinian victories began occurring in the streets of many Palestinian towns and cities. Palestinian operations ranged anywhere from cutting supply lines of the Empire in order to cause difficulties in maintaining their base of operations in certain areas, all the way to ambushing patrols and convoys, raiding military facilities and weapon caches, kidnapping and interrogating Ottoman Officials for information. Within months of the plan being ignited, the Ottoman Empire began collapsing in on itself and had found themselves stretched too far to deal with the Palestinian coup, having been stretched too thin is also why the Palestinian coup was not spotted and recognized before its overwhelming activity. The Ottoman Empire surrendered its holdings and began running back to protect their homeland. News of other Middle Eastern powers were heard rising and forming the necessary borders that represented their people. Just as Natalia Hayaat found victory in driving the Ottoman Empire out, she was confronted with another power. Syrian Guerrillas who were leading the revolts against the Ottoman Empire in Syria who were looking to take land that stretched all the way to the Mediterranean. This proved to be a problem with what the Palestinian people were looking to establish. Natalia Hayaat began fierce negotiations with the Syrian Guerrillas. Both would do more harm than good to their people if they were to go to war. They both were not in a position to take one another on due to the wounds still healing from the recent fighting with the Ottoman Empire. Lines were established and Palestine even cooperated to take less land then they asked for. April 12th, 1980 - Declaration of Independence is written and the State of Palestine is born, it is a place where the Palestinian people may all have a voice in the affairs of Palestine's future. President Natalia Hayaat is voted in as Palestine's first president at the age of 34. Her vision is quickly implemented and a government along with a military is forged. Palestine, although in the infant stage of their country, have already leaped bounds in a world full of chaos. The goal now is to secure their borders and mark their spot in history. "Today we witness the beginning of an end, an end to oppression, an end to tyranny, an end to foreign control, today we witness the beginning of our freedom, the beginning of our generations light and that light will shine for generations to come, today we witness the beginning of our State, the State of Palestine, where all of us are Palestine's Sunbirds!" - President Natalia Hayaat during a speech before the signing of the Declaration, also broadcast'd over several radio stations.
