Here's another candidate (if you want to go with the plot) it could be a scheme by Misspaw. Though that would be difficult since I'll be writing inside her head. She could have put Falconpaw up to it though, to try and destroy her rivals. Maybe she told him to tell Curlstar to destroy the other clans so she can brag to her father about causing the destruction of their enemies, at which point he gets really, really angry with her.
