Name: Lucas Tyrell Age: 16 (born in 186 AC) Appearance: Lucas’ most recognizable feature is his thick crop of light brunette, almost sandy blonde hair. He attempts to style it appropriately but he has always found it hard to control and when he is studying he will be apt to rake his fingers through the locks, leaving it a wild mess. Unlike most of his other siblings his eyes are a light blue and are often referred to as puppy like, his emotions easily showing through them, many a family member & servant alike finding it hard to resist giving comfort when something saddens him. Lucas prefers simple clothing but he has been taught well, and can at the very least pick out pieces that do not leave him looking foolish. He is slim of form though does not appear in anyway malnourished, and has only reached a height of 5ft 9, though he claims he is still growing. Biography: Born the youngest son to Lord Leo Tyrell, Lucas’ life was starkly different from his brothers. With an heir and a budding knight already in play, there was no need for him to aspire to such lofty heights. This suited the young boy well, for he had always preferred his own company, finding solitude and quiet comforting rather than a bore. He wished to become a maester, to immerse himself in his studies and to be far removed from the politics that surrounded the rest of his family. It was lucky that he had a father who was kind and willing to listen to his children, and he was subsequently sent to Oldtown at the young age of 10. Though he did often return to Highgarden, most of his time was spent amongst the scholars in Oldtown, learning and thriving under their tutelage, though he had not yet joined their ranks. He always had a particular interest in the higher mysteries, although many of his tutors told him he should focus on more realistic fields of study. His knowledge of the alchemist’s guild and the higher mysteries is extensive, though he has found (to his chagrin) it is not something that is deemed polite to discuss amongst the many courts of Westeros. Whilst in Oldtown he became friends with Leo Hightower, the boy named after his father who was equally studious and learned. What blossomed between them could be said to have been more than a friendship, though openly they were just that. Shy, modest, and introverted, it takes a lot to draw Lucas out of his shell. Yet when someone does, they will see that sharp spark of intelligence, his wit, and his kindness.
