After centuries of hunting? Valerian has done it. He has removed, to the best of his knowledge and tireless crusade, destroyed all the remaining Vampires in the world leaving him as the last remaining survivor. He has gained his vengeance on those that wronged him and now? Now his watch begins...

Going by the name Liam, the vampire retires himself to Salem, Massachusetts where he opens a bookstore for many years. The vampire hiding in plain sight among the occult-loving and interested community. Meanwhile collecting and vaulting actual trinkets and tributes of the occult that would otherwise harm humanity as they know it and hunting down demons, witches, malefic spirits, and creatures of the damned to keep the peace.

Once a prestigious and heroic knight in service to a powerful king and their realm, Callum, now cursed with the power and malformation/transformation of his form to that befitting a Dragon, lives his new immortal life in fury, anger and spite far from the people. His former King and their lineage, having sent the man to his death against the Dragon that would end up cursing him with it's power, constantly sends man-at-arms, mercenaries and knights in an effort to 'slay the Dragon menace' all in an effort to cover up the fact that the people's hero was still alive and that the King and their family were a family of greedy liars and deceivers.

The only solace Callum knows is that upon his return from his quest, in his transformed state, he learned of the King's treachery and malicious intent and used his power and fury to threaten the King and his line that shoul anything happen to his family he would return and raze the kingdom where it stood...even if that meant never seeing his brothers, sisters, mother or father as they passed on.
