The one request I have with second ships is that if you have a first ship that's super powerful, you're second ship kinda balances it out a little. In terms of [@Dead Cruiser] a Star Trek vessel would be a good counter-balance because W40K isn't so much ridiculously overpowered... it's just massive. 

Obviously you should be the Cerritos though... kidding.

I'm probably going to swing something in from Halo in terms of Humans. I'm probably still on the lower end of the technological scale but hey.

Just remember, the more technologically superior you are as well, the greater a target you are.
