[b]History of the Ship:[/b] The [i]Vengeful Spirit[/i] is an ancient ship built under specifications that predate the Imperium of Man, its early history reaching into the darkness of the Age of Strife. With few of the monumental Gloriana-class ships in operation, those under the control of the Emperor of Mankind were divvied out among his sons, the superhuman Primarchs. Horus Lupercal, being the first and foremost among the Emperor's sons, was given the Vengeful Spirit to serve as the flagship of his legion. Under the command of the Warmaster, entire worlds have fallen, and enemy fleets have surrendered outright upon the sight of the massive battleship.
