Be part of a team yet complains she works alone. Proclaim her independence yet remains under the thumb of her own biases, expectations, and parents. A wannabe punk girl that despises the company of gangsters and rebels alike. Although she often praises the Guardians as paragons of virtue, Szarlota sneers under her breath how out-of-touch moral busybodies they are. 


[b][color=white]Appearance:[/color][/b] Tall and lean girl that stands at 5’10”. She is hardly seen without her makeup and jester outfit. Her blue eyes and black hair are the only things that could discern her from the crowd when she is out of costume.

[b][color=white]Biography:[/color][/b] 
Szarlota Raczkowska was born to an old family of Polish immigrants who fled the motherland before the Nazis invaded in 1939. It was bad enough for them to deal with racism and poor working conditions but the war hit them hard when several of their uncles and aunts were sent to concentration camps where they never get to see the end of the war. Her grandfather, however, brought light into their bleak world by enlisting as a fighter pilot in the US Air Force and became an ace pilot after scoring seven kills by the war’s end. There was great rejoicing when the grandpa’s brother managed to survive the Holocaust and immigrated to the US to see the rest of his family.

Szarlota grew up in the rural house that her grandparents built after WWII alongside a few of her younger sisters. It’s sort of a new ancestral home for the Raczkowska family. Her parents were always away because of their work-related businesses traveling to Poznan and Warsaw in Poland. Growing up, Szarlota and her sisters would sit by the campfire and listen to their grandparents’ stories of the War and listen to old Polish songs.

Szarlota didn’t really become part of the Wards until the middle of high school after the Pole unearthed an old chest filled with antique memorabilia. A small treasure of items her grandparents have collected from the war and the Warsaw Pact before bringing them here to the US. Of these curious items was a jester mask. Pale as a ghost with a sinister long nose and crooked smile frozen in gratuitous laughter. The eyes seem to stare straight deep into her soul and looked as if they reveled in her insecurities, her frustrations, and her doubts.

And so she did.

By the time Szarlota can finally comprehend what she has done, she has already died twice over trying to stop a robbery. Her unsuccessful attempt at being a vigilante quickly caught the radar of the Wards program. Since Szarlota had nothing better to do with her apparently "third" chance of life, she accepted to be an initiate.

	Szarlota can fake her own death to avoid detection and escape. Whether it's being killed by bullets or crushed to death, she will simply reappear in a completely different area, undeterred and unsuspected, while leaving behind a corpse that would inevitably disappear without a trace. Carlota can even reawaken in the last bed she slept in after she got killed as if she was respawning from a last save location in a video game. All items not stored in her clothes or in her hands will not reappear upon recovery and must be physically regained.
