It hurt... That was the only thing that registered to Layla as she struggled through the darkness pressing down on her. Why did it hurt? She couldn't remember...Tired and weak she finally gave up and stopped fighting, just floating through the nothingness. "You're so weak." A voice snarled from the blackness. It was faint but Layla could still hear all the rage and anger that the voice held. Who...? Who was that? It then clicked. Lilith..Yes, that was Lilith speaking to her but where was she? "Layla, you need to wake up right now!" "But...I'm so tired...tired..." "WAKE UP RIGHT NOW!!" Layla jolted at Lilith's shriek, her eyes flying open. At first, the only thing she was and heard was a confusing jumble of sounds and colors but after a few moments her sight cleared and she was able to see that she was in a room. The smell of smoke filled the air and she coughed, turning her head and she burying it against something. It took her another few moments to realize that the thing she buried her face into seemed to be moving. She peeked up and blinked when the boy was before's face swam into view. Like the flick of a switch, the bright blue eyes were replaced with burning red ones as Lilith swiftly took control. "Put me down!" She hissed at him, eyes promising violence if he didn't comply. She attempted to struggle but her body refused to listen, feeling too content to move from the comfort of his arms. It just made the demon girl even more furious at her traitor body.
