[color=slategray]Physical Appearance:[/color] Adelaide stands at 5’10 and weighs around 157lbs, having a bit of a lean, muscular build. She has quite a few scars riddling her body, something not entirely unusual for a monster hunter, but every time you ask her where she got a scar she’ll tell you some wild story that’s never the same. She likes to leave people wondering what really happened. When it comes to attire, Adelaide’s choice of clothing entirely depends on what situation she’s going into. She has three options she tends to gravitate towards the most. One is an all black outfit she often wears whenever she's taken a job that requires stealth. The other two she often wears either just during the day when she isn't doing anything or when she's gathering information in social situations. She has a set of common elven clothes consisting of pants and a blouse. The last is a dress that's more formal and elegant.

[color=slategray]Class/Skillset:[/color] Adelaide is roguish in nature and has trained as an assassin, finding an affinity for stealth, slinking into the shadows, and taking down her targets quietly. She works well with her twin who often draws the attention of their foes, creating an opening for her to come in behind them. She carries a variety of weapons on her including a silvered short sword, two daggers with enchantments of returning on them, and always keeps a wooden stake on her. She is quick, easily being able to pop in and out of being engaged with an enemy. She’s also quite skilled in deception and persuasion, helping her to draw out information from others. Surprisingly skilled at mimicking sounds and even the voices of others, she’s used this to her advantage at times to get her and her sister out of sticky situations.

[color=slategray]Personality:[/color] Adelaide is very passionate about many things, and especially so with the people she loves. When she cares for someone, she cares for them deeply and has experienced enough loss in her life to never want to feel it again. Her passionate nature also often extends to her interests, including books, sweets, and music. Adelaide has often been called rude or even evil, but this is often just a defense mechanism. If one were to break past the walls she has up and grow close to her, they would soon find that she obviously loves her sister and friends very much and would do anything to protect them.

Adelaide feels things both strongly and deeply. While she is often teasing, witty, and carefree when she is happy, Adelaide's most immediate reaction when angry or sad is to channel her darker emotions into a barely-contained rage or killing calm. This gets her into trouble more often than not. Often she will take rash actions and has a desire for vengeance when someone close to her is harmed or even killed.

Despite being a monster hunter and assassin, she is quite meticulous in managing her appearance. She has a fixation on finery and insists on wearing fashionable clothing. She can often be found spending her money on frivolous things and can be surprisingly girly.

Adelaide also has a strong moral compass. Though she often tries to suppress the memories of her tumultuous past, her experiences have shaped her into the woman she is, and that is a woman who does not tolerate injustices. She absolutely loathes slavery and unnecessary cruelty. People that partake in either of these, she will do anything necessary to make them pay for their actions.

[color=slategray]Background:[/color] Adelaide and Alice came from a very large family with doting half-elven parents and six siblings. They had a happy childhood, never wanting for anything, had parents that did everything with them, and siblings that adored each other. Adelaide and Alice were always the closest, however, having a special bond with being twins. Their parents were the type of people that would quickly invite people into their home, provide them with a meal and warm bed to sleep in. The children learned to be far too trusting of others, something that would come as a detriment later in life.

When the girls were 15 years old, tragedy struck their family. Someone close to them sold them to a vampire coven who murdered their parents and took them and their siblings to use as sustenance. Slowly, over a year, they watched their siblings die one by one. It was gruesome and traumatizing to watch and they would have been the next on the list if it hadn’t been for a family friend finding them. He managed to get them out and they ran as fast as they could.

Hating what happened to them and seeking vengeance, the girls worked towards becoming monster hunters and ridding the world of all sorts of evils. They never wanted what happened to them to happen to anyone else and so they strived towards making a better world by killing one monster at a time.
