Standing at 5'10 with a lean build that lacks signs of physical muscles. Always garbed in a long flowing white haori (as seen in the image) and adorned with a fox mask. The long sleeves and baggy pants often keeping his clawed feet and hands hidden as well as his fox tails.

Being a kitsune he has enhanced senses like hearing and smell that has been trained and honed over years that has made him into an expert tracker and hunter. Along with the use of sharp claws and fangs as his main weapons. Through the teachings of his order, he has read up on magic and through training has gained the capabilities of using smoke magic; through the use of his magical pipe artifact, he can expel and manipulate various types of scented smoke that can be used in various ways along with affecting those unfortunate enough to inhale senses or motor functions. 

While lacking in the strength or direct offensive department, he makes up for use of strategy and underhanded tactics with the use of his smoke and claws to finish off his target. On top of smoke that hinders the targets he also has scented smoke that can aid and offer buffs to allies for a short time though comes with drawbacks, their severity depending on how much or number of different smoke buffs taken.

Izushima's personality is and has been comparable to smoke. As much like his magic, his personality has been said to be ever shifting and changing, mysterious and ephemeral. An enigmatic person that is difficult to know or understand with a voice that is smooth and soft and oft quiet as a whisper. Coyness tends to be an ever-present hint to his tone as if everything he says is followed with teasing. His manner of speaking and tendency to tell or mix in lies makes him deceptive and difficult to trust as he follows the nature of a fox's devious trickster to heart. He does so not out of ill-will (at least most times) but simply out of amusement or other personal reasons known only to himself. Those that know him will advise to not bother taking anything he says to heart nor bothering with attempts to get to know him for any fact or stories of himself change or altered slightly.

Little is known about Izushima whether it be his past or even simple facts about him save for his impressive monster hunting records. What is known is that he was once part of a highly secretive group called the Nine-Tails order; a group of expert monster hunters often highly sought after with a high cost that follows. The mystery pertaining to his expulsion from the order has been perplexing those who has since hired or worked along-side him with no luck in getting any hint towards the truth.

His actual appearance is also unknown as Izushima has never been seen with others without his mask leading to countless rumors and talks of what he looks like underneath. This has led credence to why it has been difficult to discern if he actually is a kitsune or a different race

He is also surprisingly good at playing the flute with a soothing melody which listeners can't help but find themselves relaxing or drifting to sleep. Some rumors talk of him using his flute playing skills to steal their riches, but any that say such can hardly recall the incidents.

Those who have worked with him in jobs found him to be a deceiving pain in the ass and difficult to work with. So much so that hardly anyone wants to be involved with the engimatic fox (human? elf? or whatever he has told others what he is) even though his capabilities as a hunter is top-notch. Even solo he has proven capable of capturing tricky and troublesome monsters, slaying if need be though typically tends to do capture jobs or leave the actual slaying to others if possible.

What his goals or motivation or what he aims to achive is known to no one but himself. Some rumors say he aims to find a way to rejoin the order while others say his expulsion was in itself a deception and merely pretending to be as if expelled.
