Nikolai stands at 6’2” and weighs 205 lbs. He has short, tussled brown hair and golden eyes. His skin is a shade of light olive and it is smooth and unscarred. Nikolai’s facial features are famously quite attractive. His attire is quite lavish in non-combat scenarios he tends to wear expensive silk clothing with intricate gilding. Nikolai is a battle master trained by the best soldiers and fighters in Abona. He has perfected the art of using a glaive and is able to detect an enemy in a 10-foot area even when he is blinded. Nikolai is an expert tactician and able to inspire his allies in the thick of combat to turn the tide of battle. He also knows many maneuvers with his weapons. Nikolai excels in deception,  performance and insight.

Nikolai is a kind-hearted human who tries his best to help anyone in need. He believes it is his duty to protect the people who cannot protect themselves from the dangers of this world. He is extremely charismatic and has a charm to him that often attracts others around him. He’s outgoing and often very friendly. Nikolai can be quite prideful at times. His success has attributed to giving him a little bit of arrogance and overconfidence. These traits have led to him having quite a sense of humor, often dropping witty remarks or joking in serious situations.  Sometimes he should probably worry more than he does as he can be too laid-back. However this laid-back nature is what helps him succeed in battle as he’s slow to anger or get fearful.

With a charming grin, Nikolai loves to use his good looks and confidence to weasel his way out of tough situations. He’s flirty when he needs or wants to be and knows just what to say as he can be cunning. When it comes to his own desires, he loves food and simple pleasures like a nice long nap or getting drunk with his friends. Though he has a tendency to do stupid things when he’s drunk or be somehow louder than normal.

Born and raised in Abona, Nikolai is known to come from a well-off noble family. He likes to share a lot about his childhood and how he grew up beloved and got everything he wanted from his mother and father. Success was simply in his nature and he had won from the moment he had been born. Though he had no siblings, he was raised along with his best friend Vel Enigma. They were two peas in a pod. Nikolai considered him his brother. The two of them were inseparable. However, the two of them grew bold as they got into their teen years and would go travelling together. They often strayed off to a small community nearby to talk to the girls who lived there, Alice and Adelaide Varo. One day upon visiting the two found themselves in the wrong time and place as vampires were attacking the small community. Vel was disintegrated by a powerful vampire mage right in front of his eyes. Not knowing what to do, he ran as fast as he could back to Abona to tell his father immediately after the situation. 

It had taken some time to recover from the loss but he did manage to find the bravery in himself to go rescue the girls eventually. Vel had used his last words to press Nikolai to not give up and so he decided not to let vampires or any monsters keep him down. He needed to get stronger to protect the people he cared about and make the world a better place. 


[color=92278f]Noteworthy Past Events:[/color] 

Nikolai has hunted and killed many dangerous creatures. He is famous in Abona for his high kill count.

He has helped take down a Beholder that had inhabited an abandoned dungeon in the forests near Abona

One time he got drunk in Shestead and danced on the tables of the bar. While screaming like a chicken, he threw a mix of feathers and honey at everyone in the tavern.
