Name: Astraea Bauduin Appearance: Age: 21 Bio: The only heir of the Bauduin family, Astraea led a privileged, if regimented life, one meant to train her for the need to keep the peace as her family saw it. She loved reading and writing, history and politics. But above all, she loved to pilot Mobile Suits, which she learned to do so at a young age. Nevertheless, being a woman, she was not taken seriously many times and had to fight for recognition of her own separate, independent talents. Choosing to be deployed against pirates in her first few missions as an MS Pilot, Astraea proved to be a good and dedicated fighter, even though her initial lack of ruthlessness won scorn from some quarters. Eventually, she pleaded for and received, the post of 'Special Inspector' for Gjallarhorn, hearing rumors of corrupt dealings on Mars. She planned to bring no one except her trusted bodyguards; she had made few friends in Gjallarhorn's military academy and trusted even fewer of those friends to stand by her when things got hard. For she had learned her lesson in her pirate-hunting days: That people are ready to backstab and slander others, and cannot even be bothered to do so up-front. She also dated a member of the Fareed Family; it ended so badly that she purposefully forgot all about it, including whether the person she dated was a man or a woman (she is bisexual). Let's just say that she never wanted to see their faces ever again, and is bitter with the Fareeds ever since then. Mundane Skills: Mobile Suit Piloting (including Gundams), Fencing, Shooting, Embroidery, and First Aid, also Riding Horses and Driving fast cars. Personality: A curious soul who is less jaded than she assumes she is, Astraea thinks she is subtle and perceptive but actually struggles with the former due to how blatant she can be even when she tries to be cold. She views herself as an 'Ice Queen' who shows little emotion, but this attitude cracks when in the presence of her aides and immediate subordinates, whom she sees as her family. As for the Fareeds, she despises them due to how her past romantic interest was one of them yet that person dumped her, although she secretly fears that it was her fault all along. Despite being loyal to Gjallarhorn, she holds some sympathies for the Martian Independence Movement but is aware that her views on them can sour the moment they step out of line or prove to be less than benevolent in both intent and methods. All in all, she is someone trying to assume an air of independence and adulthood but is still quite insecure. Do you have the Alaya-Vijyana System?: N.
