The caravan has been around for hundreds of years, but I [i]do[/i] want to keep its origins a mystery for now. So, I'll say that a particularly long-lived person could have been a part of the Pilgrim's Caravan for up to 300 years. Any longer than that, and they'd probably have heard how it started.
