She had cut in line, after all, so it was likely wise to speak to one and then take her leave. As she was doing so, however, she watched the guards gather to drag the poor girl out and she briefly considered doing something to try and help, but it seemed like someone else may have been beating her to it. She was slow in her exit, eaves dropping the conversation and smirking a little as the man slightly drew his sword. Something about his body language indicated mischief in the making, though someone without a trained eye would have likely missed it. Figuring things were taken care of, she stepped out into the throng of women still waiting to meet with the prince. She noticed several glares and could hear a few whispers, but she initially planned to just tune them out as she left. It was at that moment that someone ran into her and she let out a small gasp, stumbling a little yet catching herself before she fell. It had rather surprised her, especially with the force behind it, but she quickly turned to see the man from earlier. He seemed just as surprised as she was as she looked up at him. A friendly smile crossed her lips as her hands raised, waving them a little. ”No need to apologize, I am unharmed I assure you. It takes far more than that to harm me.” She said in her soft, melodic voice as she gave him an Alidashtian bow. ”My god, do you see those scars on her? How hideous!” ”A tragedy, for sure. A beauty and a horror wrapped in one.” These whispers were louder, purposely meant for her to hear, and Saiya couldn’t keep from flinching. One of her hands subconsciously traced one of the longer, more significant scars on her arm as memories of her fathers anger and lessons flashed in her mind. She paled ever so slightly, but quickly shoved those thoughts and feelings aside as she tried to focus back in on the man in front of her. ”I’m Lady Saiya Ansari of Alidasht, it’s a pleasure to meet you.” The smile once again returned to her face, but there was a level of force behind it as she still battled with her inner demons.
