What was Raynor thinking? That felt like the equivalent of walking into a room and saying, "Hey, you should help us, this is my friend Frank, son of Adolf Hitler". Even if it was true, it wasn't the sort of thing to wave around like a flag. He wanted to retaliate in some way, to correct him and say that Thanos wasn't his father, at most he was his sire, but that sort of quibbling wouldn't help anybody right now, and it somehow didn't seem to be an issue. It was certainly something he'd yell at Raynor about later, but for now he could keep his mouth shut. The ewxistences of Nexus's was surprising to say the least, not just the fact that the multiverse was real, but each universe apparently had a person that was fundamentally tied to that universe felt mind blowing. To him, this meant that, somehow consciousness was tied to the nature of existence. This spoke volumes about how to interpret quantum physics, and if he had time, he'd try to fold in the things he learned today to actually create a functional model of the multiverse. That was, of course, contingent on the group not dying and everything being obliterated, but what wasn't these days?
