If I wanted the sky portal route I would have chosen the Terrible Spawn option, where it makes you the progeny of an Outer God who is active in world affairs and doing things in the name of their progenitor, or the From Out of Space option, where it makes you an alien from another world with tech that might as well be magic or a form that doesn't comply to the known laws of physics.
