Oh wait..."[/sup]

Neena currently resides in The Bronx, fending for herself as she always has. With a steady flow of cases and jobs at her disposal due to the nature of her "100% Guarantee" on closing a case or getting the job done, she has made a small name for herself, especially as she ensures the safety of those in her neighborhood and those who are often overlooked when justice puts the blindfold back on. The nature of Neena's powers is a mystery, even to herself most of the time. Neena has no control over her powers, which she refers to as her "good luck charm". Instead, Neena has to put herself into dangerous situations so that her powers can kick in, altering the odds in her favor. This can take the form of "good luck" for her or "bad luck" for her enemies. There is no guarantee that Neena will get out of a situation unharmed, especially if the risk is less. Neena did not take up the name Domino when she first started working. At the age of 16, when the alien invasion happened and the people that made up The Avengers formed, Neena thought it was silly. Being a mutant, she kept her powers hidden, which was easy enough to do. Neena saw the Avengers as "glorified do-gooders", she promised herself she would not be a part of any team. Things around her continued to worsen as people in her neighborhood were attacked, especially fellow mutants like herself. When the life of a 12-year-old young mutant was taken, Neena decided then and there she would do all she could to help those who needed it, but often slipped through the cracks. Working hard and accepting menial jobs at first, she got her way up to starting her own agency. She assumed the name Domino and began working on fighting injustice. The two have a tentative friendship. Hudson allows Neena to work her cases and Neena does her best not to interfere with police business (but let's not kid ourselves, more often than not, she involves herself). Despite this, both have mutual respect for each other. [*]Carolyn Winters - Neena's secretary at her detective office. While she may appear meek and mild, Carolyn can cut a person down with a sharp look or her razor tongue. It was why she was hired in the first place. Carolyn rarely mixes business with pleasure, but Neena and she have gone out for drinks a few times. An organizational whiz, the agency would not be running without Carolyn. [*]Ceasar LaRamirez - A 16-year-old youth that hangs around Neena's neighborhood. Despite his age, Ceasar knows a lot about what is going on in the streets. While Neena would not call him an informant, she has utilized his knowledge time and time again. [*]Ellory Yang - The CPS agent in charge of her case in her youth. The two have a kinship unlike any that Neena has formed as she got older. While Ellory lives in Chicago, the two keep in touch regularly.

-1996: Neena is born in a hospital in Illinois. Her mother is a drug addict and her father is basically non-existent. Neena undergoes many medical procedures to ensure she lives. DCFS is called and, once Neena is cleared, she is taken from her mother and placed in the foster care system. -2000: Possible first demonstration of Neena's mutant ability when a young boy picked up a pile of sand in an attempt to throw it in her face. Instead, the boy tripped, throwing the sand on another bully, and giving the former a nasty welt on the head after he hit the side of the seesaw. -2002: Neena ats up in school, leading her foster parents to demand her removal. Ellory Yang enters the picture, warning Neena to act better. -2004: Neena gets into a fight with another classmate and, despite not throwing a punch, the other is left with bruises and cuts. No one believes she didn't do anything and she is removed from school and placed on suspension. Neena begins to suspect she has unnatural abilities -2010: The Chitauri attack 16 cities across Earth and Neena and many others watch. Neena sees other mutants and powered individuals fight back. Neena decides she hates do-gooder heroes. -2012: Ryan Ashe is killed in a gunfight between gangs. Though Neena did not know the young boy, she knew the family and, seeing the mother and sisters through their grief, decides to fight back. Neena turns 18 and ages out of the foster care system, never having a permanent home. -2015: Neena finishes and graduates from college early with her degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Business. She begins accepting odd jobs and other work to earn the income to start her own business. Neena begins self-defense training as well as gymnastics and firearms. -2017: Neena, having made a small name for herself, finally has the income to start her detective agency. She buys an office in the central Bronx and begins the process of putting herself out there more. Carolyn is hired shortly after. Neena begins using Domino as her alias when working cases or jobs. -2020: Neena sees Robert Kelly elected as president. Neena curses anyone who voted for him. Neena gets into a fight with a group of anti-mutants and wins but spends a night in a holding cell per Chief Hudson's request. -2022: Neena continues to see anti-mutant rhetoric abound, but continues to fight to prove that mutants are deserving of the same rights as regular folk.

I was skeptical at first to use this character due to the nature of her power, but I am not saying I plan on winning every fight she is in. I fully expect her to get her licks and am willing to work with any player or the GM to ensure everyone is happy and on the same page. Also, if anyone wants to include her in their story if it makes sense, please let me know.

[SUP][SUB]
S A M P L E P O S T:
[/SUB][/SUP]

The man looked like he made regular posts on Reddit or TikTok about how women nowadays were undermining real men and how they needed to learn to get back into the kitchen where a woman belonged. She pulled up her cell phone to double-check the picture. The balding man looked back at her, his mugshot (courtesy of Chief Hudson), evidence of prior misdeeds. She took this case before the woman in the chair in front of her began speaking. Neena could see the evidence of a black eye, as much as the woman tried to hide it with make-up. Cuts and bruises along her arms that she also attempted to hide with long sleeve shirts despite the present heat in the city. The job? Find evidence of Chester Pitts shady dealings and ensure he faces justice. While Neena would love nothing more than to beat the snot out of Chester so much so that he needs to be laid up in the hospital for months, she knows better than that. Maria, Chester's girlfriend and the victim of his "temper" (his words, not hers), wants him put away so she can safely move out of the city and somewhere safer. If Chester got so much as a sniff that Maria was the one that hired Neena....well suffice it to say Neena needed to be sure that didn't happen. So she tailed Chester for the past three days. Taking photos whenever he meets with someone. While she did not find concrete proof that he was a bad egg ('get it? cuz he's bald!') she was sure tonight would seal the deal. Chester was with three others. Neena recognized them as members of a local gang. Per Ceasar's intel, this was meant to be a big arms deal. Enough to put Chester behind bard for a long time. As Neena eyed the deal, she noted one of the members glancing around nervously. Fidgeting and shaking. She recognized the signs. The man needed a hit badly. This was about to go south quickly. She got out of the car and made her way over carefully. She didn't want to spook them. As she did so, she heard the end of their conversation. "-and it's all there. $500,000." The case was handed to who Neena assumed was the leader of this little trio. He handed it off to the other guy to check before nodding to fidget hands to grab what she assumed were the weapons. Fidget McGee nodded in understanding and walked over to the nearby car, opening the trunk and taking out several large bags. The leader held up a hand. "You know, this took a lot of effort. Perhaps we should ask for more." Chester obviously was not pleased. "It wasn't easy getting the money either! I pissed off a lot of people." The leader chuckled, "Well, that sounds like a you problem." The leader pulled out a handgun and leveled it at Chester's gleaming forehead. Chester, to his credit, stared down the barrel. "Punks like you are all the same!" The leader continued to aim. "Was that racist? Leeroy? Tell me, should I be offended?" The words were a joke, but Leeroy (or Fidget Spinner there) pulled out his own gun. "I...I think it was! Yeah..." Chester began to spout some drivel that Neena quickly tuned out. She had been snapping pictures of the ordeal and recording it. The third member, the one with the money case, finally made it back and glanced in her direction. "Hey! Who's she?" Neena stood up in time to see Leeroy shoot at Chester, hitting him square in the shoulder before the leader and moneybags leveled their guns at her. She merely shrugged as she walked forward. "Now boys. I highly suggest you put down your guns and surrender. This won't end well for you." "Sounds like a threat bi-..." the leader said before the money guy shot off a round at her. Neena kept walking forward as the bullet shot wide, hitting the nearby rain gutter and bouncing back, shooting the leader in the foot and putting an end to his almost nasty word. "Jesus! Fuck!" he shouted before dropping his gun to nurture his foot. Leeroy attempted to shoot again but heard a click. "What?" he asked no one in particular. Neena kept walking forward, grabbing the lid of the trash can next to her and throwing it at Leeroy, hitting his hand and forcing the gun he was staring at to cold clock in the face. She ran forward, flipping over the injured leader and kicking the last remaining dude across the cheek. She flipped back over the leader, grabbing him and flinging him to the pavement. Hearing the satisfied groans of a job well done. Neena walked over to Chester, who was gripping his shoulder. "Who the hell are you?" "Name's Domino. Smile for the camera!"
Chief Hudson walked the scene as one man was loaded into the ambulance to nurse his gunshot and three were loaded into the back of a police cruiser to be processed. Taped to the side of the wall were a cell phone and a sign. "For Chief Hudson. Kisses!" He recognized the handwriting and sign off and figured the cell phone would be filled with evidence to put all parties away. He shook his head with a slight grin. The girl was dangerous, reckless, and kind of a maniac. But she got the job done.

[SUP][SUB]
P O S T C A T A L O G:
[/SUB][/SUP]

This section is not necessary, but a procedural listing of your linked posts will make it much easier and more convenient for all involved.
