Closed for now! c: [s]Hey there! I've had to dip into a semi-hiatus lately, but this one craving keeps nagging at me. It's a huge longshot since it's pretty niche (and kinda dark), but here it goes. Basic premise: YC constantly (and likely secretly) causes MC to remain ill in some way. This could be out of a fear of loneliness, a need to be considered useful, or just in general enjoyment of caring for a person/saving a life. I think this could fit into a lot of different things, so I have a list of ideas (original and fandom) below. Some quick notes:

I'm looking to write against a Male or Non-Binary character, with my own being Male or Female depending on my partner's preference.
We're not here to romanticize or sexualize abuse of disabled individuals or those who can't reasonably consent, so MC will be able-bodied and minded throughout the plot. Dub-Con is as far as I'll go, though the character I play can also be fully aware and consenting to anything and everything.
I'm more interested in stories that lean towards character studies than anything with a massively extravagant plot. Something where our characters are isolated with mostly only each other is probably what I'll go for the fastest.
I don't have much in the way of over-arching plot...Let's come up with something together!
Whatever illness MC has can be as mild or severe as we decide. It could be simple like a persistent flu, or we can crank it up to 11 with something that is downright life-threatening.
You get major bonus points if YC isn't human! Mine will most likely be human, but we can talk about it.
Some stuff about me:

I am 21+. My partner needs to be the same. I'm in my late-twenties, so the older a writing partner is the more comfortable I feel.
I greatly enjoy angst/darker themes such as drug use, cursing, and any level of violence/gore. If someone is exceptionally squeamish, then I may not be the best person to write with. That said, please let me know of any concerns and I will adjust!
As above, this could also include psychological torture, possible self-harm, and emotional trauma. Not a necessity, but it's all on the table. Anything that turns the story into something gritty to mix with hurt/comfort fluff is what I crave!
Romance not required! Smut is entirely optional and so is romance! Family bonds are just as good.
In terms of smut, I'm not a pure smut type of person. We're looking at a 60/40 - 80/20 plot-to-smut ratio depending on chemistry. I love characters who can have fun with each other + have realistic flaws and emotions.
Also related to smut, I'm pretty flexible when it comes to tame and extreme kinks. I have some hard no's, but I'm down to swap F-lists if someone is interested.
My post length varies, though I average about 2-4 paragraphs. Inspiration can hit me hard, so my posts might be randomly long if the scene's good. Quality over quantity and all that.
Post times will vary. I'm in the US and work the average office job, so I'll be lurking around throughout the day (Pacific time zone...I think?), but IC posts tend to be saved for really slow days or after work/weekends. A post or two a day is what I strive for if I have the time. If not, at the very least a post a week.
I fully expect proper grammar. I want to write with someone who loves writing and shows it.
I'm pretty ghost-friendly. Life happens, things don't last forever. Pop back in whenever you feel like and we'll get something going again!
Doubling isn't my thing. If a partner isn't into playing a certain character for their own interest, then we just aren't compatible.
PM is my top preference, but I'm down for anything my partner prefers.
Writing samples available! I might ask for one in return!
Now for the fun part! These are just some ideas I have, mostly fandom to be honest, but I'm totally open to suggestions! Fandom ideas can also be used for original settings.

Looking for someone to play Rick.
Morty can be anywhere 14+. Normally, I prefer playing adult characters, but Morty is an easy exception in this case. Feel free to change Rick's age as well, as long as he's an adult.
Canon or AU
Rick and Morty are on their own, and have been for quite some time. They settled far away from their home dimension, likely on the Citadel, and enjoy their adventures as much as any other Rick and Morty duo. However, this particular Rick has some deep-seated insecurities that he's been taking out on his grandson - whether that's his 'real' Morty or not. Morty has grown bold, and it's led to Rick having very real concerns that the boy might decide he doesn't want or need his grandfather anymore. So...Rick fixes it the only way he knows how: By manipulating the situation in his own selfish way. If Morty is too sick or weak to go on his own adventures, then surely he can't abandon Rick, right?

Looking for someone to play Zim.
All characters will be 21+. I love some Millennial Invader Zim shenanigans!
Dark/gritty setting and competent Zim all the way.
Zim has done it. He's won. The earth has long since been conquered by the strange boy hardly anyone looked twice at. Society hangs on by a thread as Zim takes his throne. Entire cities are leveled in his wake of insanity, and humanity is nearly driven to extinction. As years pass, Zim's rule mellows to a tense hum. He controls every aspect of the earth and its remains: The food, the water, even the entertainment. If human society still exists at all, they do their best to continue with the new normal, living under the constant horror that Zim can snap his fingers and end it all. It's all the Invader wanted, right? He should be happy! But he's not. The rival he fought and defeated is still a pain in his ass, though Dib is now considered a pet in Zim's home. The human is just as mouthy and disobedient as the day they met, and something in Zim is about to snap. He secretly needs Dib's respect and approval, for reasons he doesn't understand, so if he can't reason with Dib...He'll get it by force. Humans are so fragile, Zim won't have to do much to earn his human's admiration if he saves his life.

Looking for a male animatronic. Preferably the Daycare Attendant, but anyone is fine!
Idea below is designed for Sun/Moon, but we can make it fit for any other animatronic.
What do you get when you design an animatronic to care for humans, then abandon it entirely? A damn mess. That's what you get. The animatronic might keep itself together for a little while out of sheer hope that everything will go back to normal, but eventually it'll start to break down in more ways than one. When a human finally comes by to give it some much-needed attention, it won't take much for that poor animatronic to become attached. It's designed to be a caregiver, remember? Even if its new friend isn't in such need, it'll find a way to make sure it never goes without purpose again.

Looking for someone to play the pokemon in a trainer/pokemon pairing
Gijinka pokemon, anyone? With the ability to shift back and forth from gijinka to pokemon?
Any pokemon is fine! Shiny, legendary, whatever. Just please be creative about it.
The setting can be in any region! I favor Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn myself, but I love them all. A custom region might be a hard sell since I like having pre-made destinations to bounce off of.
Game Freak might not want their pokemon to be massive, but I sure do! They're monsters. Let's treat them as such with realistic sizing.
Pokephilia is cool as long as the pokemon is 100% human level-sentient and consenting.
The bond between a pokemon and its trainer can be a powerful, unbreakable thing. Natural instinct, unfortunately, is another force to contend with. If a pokemon begins to see the trainer as something to care for, control, and isolate from society...Then not much can be done about it. If a trainer unwittingly triggers such instincts, whether through reckless action or freak occurrence, they'll realize just how strong that bond can be.

Looking for someone to play the doctor.
Entirely original, but we can mix it with a fandom.
Whether a cure has been found, or the Plague has successfully run its natural course, the illness is over. Thousands, perhaps millions, are left dead and traumatized in a modernized or undetermined time period. Yet, everything has grown calm, and society is on its way to normalcy. Fortunate for them, right? Well, unfortunately for one doctor, his specific skills and knowledge are no longer required. He's either done his job well, or still desperate to find the cure for a plague that won't return any time soon. Either way, his services have been completely forgotten. His assistant, on the other hand, is still available to be his personal patient, perhaps even a test subject for whatever madness he conjures up.

Looking for someone to play the A.I
A.I can be anything from an android, to the entire system operating a facility of some kind.
Post-apocalyptic? Space maybe?
A lone facility (or ship) stands in the middle of nowhere, completely inaccessible to anyone but the individual already inside. A human is sealed away, protected from the dangers of the outside world with only an A.I for companionship. Lately, this human has grown curious of what's beyond the safe haven, or has become increasingly prone to reckless decisions. The A.I, in turn, makes its own decision to keep its charge bound within the safety it controls, even if it means harming the one person it was made to obey.
And that's about it! Definitely don't be shy if you have any ideas, even if they're not like the ones listed above! Thank you for reading! c:[/s]
