Mm. The only darkloid to not be destroyed or absorbed, a former human essentially avoiding a permanent death so complete that it would be impossible to recover from... A human fighting the things that Father did, doing the things to himself that he did, in order to be able to do what he felt he needed... Is that not centered around survival?
