When he was on a quest, he was all in it. Maybe he joked around a little, harassed Kristin but he listened to direction, made suggestions and more importantly, worked with all three of them. Worked with her in order to help her win. And now she was telling him the entire group’s lack of communication was all on him? Ezekiel started seeing red. His knuckles cracked from squeezing his hands so hard to keep from turning around and yelling at her. She was hurting. She was pissed. She was whatever she was feeling, and Zeke was the punching bag. Fine. He could be the punching bag but not in front of everyone. He shifted in his seat and looked back at Janelle. He spoke at a normal volume but there was restrained anger in his voice. ”Now is not the time? Seriously Janelle? Then why the hell did you bring it up in the first place? If you have a problem with me, take me aside and let’s work this out because if you have that much of a problem with me then we need to talk about it before we go to Hotel Hell and have to try and survive while also completing the quest.” She walked away and Zeke turned back around, a scowl on his face while he crossed his arms and glared out the window. He was still aware of Demetri on his lap, but he was in his own head about how everything had gotten so screwed up that he didn’t pay much attention to his boyfriend or Kristin’s voice saying she was going on a walk-about.
