Il-hwa is a flirty, charismatic woman who has lived a very hard life. She is highly intelligent, but plays it coy by acting very aloof and ditzy. She isn’t afraid of anything and loves taking risks, as she likes to consider herself an adrenaline junkie of sorts. A dancer who has mastered fire bending, a trait she inherited from her long lost father, which of course she keeps as a hidden talent.

She works at a brothel in Republic City, where she was traded off to in her early teens from a small village in the Fire Nation to clear her family’s debt. Her mother was a well-known scholar and poet who fell on hard times, while her father was supposedly an aerialist and acrobat from a traveling circus. Not much else is known about her as she keeps all of her secrets close to her chest.
