[/quote] Scholarships are dependent on personal achievement, usually, and depend on the program. Quiz competitions, maths competitions, a lucky break at a lower form drama performance, robotics, making it on one of those global talent shows, etc. Lang/lit students might have been published in a small paper, or maybe they have a small blog online that they linked in the application. The people reading scholarship apps have a good eye for talent, public recognition isn’t necessary, but quality is. Everyone in Harbour Academy is either very good at what they do, or rich. Generally, I’d say that there aren’t many “lower class” students in the school–privilege is such that it takes being middle class in the first place to have the opportunity to cultivate your talent. But that doesn’t mean you can’t be poor asf, just gotta think of some good reasons to be at HA.
