Reputation: [color=f49ac2][b]Reserved and mostly keeps to herself. Her reputation is a little mixed. Most would say she's shy, some might say she's aloof, but some girls have spread nasty rumors about her (but this may be because Manami is considered an easy target).[/b][/color]

Background:
[color=f49ac2][b]Growing up in Japan was not easy. Manami was subject to severe bullying at the hands of her peers, and she had learned to keep her own grievances quiet in order to maintain the harmony of her surroundings. 

Thankfully, she had loving parents who encouraged her to pursue her passions outside of school. Outside of school, Manami loved volunteering at a local animal shelter, helping out wherever she could. During her time there, she decided that she might want to be a veterinarian for her career.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse when her bullies found out where she volunteered, when they were in middle school. After a traumatic incident at the animal shelter near the end of her year, Manami stopped going to Middle School and the animal shelter. She only went to the school again only to take her Finals. To this day, she will not speak of the incident if anyone asks her.

Her parents decided to pull some strings and send Manami to Harbour Academy, in hopes that time away could help Manami heal and find actual friends while she gets an education. 

Of course...old habits die hard. While Manami is generally kind and sweet, she is still stuck in her shell. While she wants to join in social events and make friends, she can't help but walk away from them, remembering how her peers told her that nobody wanted her around.
