[b][color=#0EB3E6]Appearance:[/color][/b] Standing at 5’10’’, Edgar doesn’t stand out much in a crowd. His skin was designed to look Caucasian, without any notable scars or tattoos. His eyes and hair are both a dark brown, meant to blend in with the masses. Edgar also wears glasses, though he doesn’t need them to see, instead making it part of his human disguise. Edgar mostly dresses for work, wearing a dress shirt and pants. When on his own free time, Edgar tends to wear comfortable jeans and a sweater.

[b][color=#0EB3E6]Worldview (Personality):[/color][/b] Edgar is a bit of a klutz, both physically and mentally. This probably has to do with the fact that he is essentially a child in the body of an adult. He never had the time to learn how to properly use his body or his emotions. As such Edgar can be erratic in conversations, bouncing from topic to topic. This usually causes people to be annoyed with him as he is seen as an airhead.

But once you get past those mental faculty issues Edgar is a really caring and determined individual. He had the idea of always doing good instilled in him since creation, taught that his purpose was to help others. This helps explain why he wanted to work at Magicorp, specifically fighting monsters. His optimism and good natured spirit also means that he is blissfully unaware of the wizards who don’t view him as a real being.

[b][color=#0EB3E6]Position:[/color][/b] Marketing and Sales

[b][color=#0EB3E6]Magic:[/color][/b] Edgar has access to magic due to the Heart of Seasons being placed within him. The ancient artifact has four separate elemental powers, each one linked to a different season. Winter’s snow gives Edgar ice magic, allowing him to generate ice and freeze objects. Spring’s rainstorms give Edgar lightning magic, able to fire bolts of it as a projectile. Summer’s heat wave gives fire magic, making Edgar able to create flames and fire them. And finally, Autumn’s chilled breeze grants wind magic, allowing Edgar to change the direction and intensity of the wind. All of these elements are much weaker than that of a wizard who only focused on one or two elements.

[b][color=#0EB3E6]Resume (Background):[/color][/b] Almost as far back as there have been wizards, there has been magical constructs. Originally simple things like a Golem made out of clay, as magic has been refined, so has these constructs. In the last one hundred years, constructs have been made that are nearly identical to an actual human. At the head of this cutting edge construct making is the Lucero family.

Head of the family Angelo Lucero would set out to create a construct capable of using magic. After forging the frame, Angelo would place an artifact known as the Heart of Seasons in its core. After that the construct was created, Angelo naming him Edgar. The construct known as Edgar would stay by Angelo’s side, moving into his home in Venice.

For the first two years of his existence, Edgar would only know the Lucero family, being forbidden from interacting with the normal humans of Venice. Angelo would train the construct in how to use his fledgling magic born of the Heart of Seasons. Edgar would be a quick study, though he would find his access to magic limited given his artificial nature.

As Edgar matured, he would yearn to do more. He was aware that his creator had a job at Magicorp in the Research & Development department, and wished to do something similar to give meaning to his life. But Angelo continued to say that he wasn’t ready, and needed to train more.

Edgar’s life would be pretty uneventful until a mishap happened with another wizard. The wizard in question would be illegally smuggling monsters through Venice, when a Cockatrice broke free. Edgar would jump into battle, using his fire magic to fry the bird monster. This handling of a battle immediately impressed Angelo.

Seeing that his construct was growing in power, Angelo decided to give him more privileges. Edgar was now allowed to travel the world with his creator, visiting various prominent wizard communities across the globe. Edgar was introduced to Angelo’s coworkers at Magicorp, which helped make him want to work there even more.

After many discussions with Edgar, Angelo decided to use his clout at Magicorp to get Edgar a job. Given his elemental powers and success in defeating monsters before, Edgar was placed in Marketing and Sales. Needing a last name to go by, Angelo allowed him to use the family name of Lucero.
