[i]With their combined efforts, the lava stopped flowing toward the city. Thanks to the efforts coming from Noel and Nemo, Tian Fei was dead, the volcanic terrakinetic construct crumbled apart and the "kaiju" also returned to dust. As the first mission came to an end, relief came into Regil's and the soldier's hearts, as the city was saved from destruction.[/i]

"We did it... WE ACTUALLY PULLED THIS OFF!!" [i]One soldier screamed.[/i]

"Holy Mother Mary, I actually thought I was going to die for a second." [i]Another one spoke.[/i]

"Alright! One victory over these Chinese bastards!" [i]A third soldier spoke.[/i]

[i]But amidst the soldier's and his commemorations, Regina wasn't smiling. Not because of the battle, but because it wasn't over for her. No, there was something else to be done.[/i]

"Specialist? Your brother's talking to you." [i]A fourth soldier called her.[/i]

[color=bc8dbf]"... Pilot."[/color] [i]Regina called him.[/i]

"Understood, ma'am. I'll take us there right now." [i]He answered.[/i]

[color=8493ca]"Wait, what? Where are we going?"[/color] [i]Regil asked.[/i]

"We're heading to that jet right up there. Brace yourselves." [i]The pilot answered.[/i]

[i]The pilot flew to the jet in the sky. Regina was, as always, on edge. She didn't know if whoever "helped" them was actually on their side or not. She may have spoken of it as "reinforcements" but she was never sure. And she wasn't taking the risk of having another fight.[/i]

[i]Meanwhile, Willard watched as the construct crumbled down. Dismissing Aureus Stella, he took a breather. [/i]

[color=6ecff6](Phew, what a mission. This was more problematic than I'd like it to be, and I wasn't here at the beginning. In any case, I better take off before I get intercepted-)[/color] [i]He thought.[/i]

[i]But it wasn't long before a helicopter intercepted him, foiling his plan. As he looked at it, there were his targets: Regil and Regina Meitner. And with them, armed soldiers stood there, looking at him.[/i]

[i]Willard signaled no. Before Regil could scream again, he took an earbud-looking device, put it in his ear, and pointed at Regil's radio. Regil took it and tried to find a channel where he could pick it up.[/i]

[color=6ecff6]"There, now I can hear you! It still has some noise, but it's a lot better!"[/color] [i]Willard answered.[/i]

[i]He took a letter off his jacket and showed it to them, from the distance. As they looked at it, all of them instantly recognized the seal belonging to the Royal Family of the United Kingdom. Just by that seal alone, she lost the grasp of her gun and just let it fall to the ground from the sky. Not only she was aiming at a soldier sent directly by the Royal Family themselves, but the thought of her failures catching up to the ears of royalty struck something that made her stop and lose all her words.[/i]

[color=6ecff6]"Do you see it now? I'm not lying. Ah, I can't open the letter, though. This is addressed to the commanding officer of this army, so it'd be very troublesome and even criminal if I open it."[/color] [i]Willard said.[/i]

It's just that, for all reasons that are currently worth it, royalty decided to put their noses in. Despite our commercial alliances with China, both they and the Parliament agreed that a declaration of war against the world could definitely mean the end of us all. This campaign, even though just beginning, is becoming a huge deal in the outside world."[/color] [i]Willard explained.[/i]

[color=bc8dbf]"But even so... how did this get through?! Doesn't this action make our country breach something established about this?!"[/color] [i]Regina questioned.[/i]

[i]Willard closed the cockpit's window and sat down back on the pilot's seat. Then, after turning the autopilot function off, he took off to meet the rest of the squad. As the new ally left them, Regina stood there with her brother and her squad. Her mind raced to wonder why Willard was sent there, combined with her fear of this being something ordered by her father because of her failures. However, Regil interrupted her train of thought.[/i]

[color=8493ca]"Sis- I mean, Regina? Shouldn't we follow him?"[/color] [i]Regil asked.[/i]

[color=bc8dbf]"What? Why?"[/color] [i]She said.[/i]

[color=8493ca]"I mean, we need to rendezvous with the rest of the army, right? If that's the case, we should follow Mr. Sterrennacht... shouldn't we?"[/color] [i]He explained.[/i]

[color=bc8dbf]"Ah, yes, right. Well, let's move on."[/color] [i]She said, walking after Willard.[/i]

[color=8493ca]"Wait, Regina, your gun-"[/color] [i]Regil tried to call her, but she ignored him and sat down at the helicopter.[/i]

"He just threw the Specialist off her game, huh... the guy's good." [i]One of her soldiers spoke.[/i]

"Willard, huh? Never heard of him before." [i]Another one said.[/i]

"Maybe he's a special recruit or whatnot. Higher-ups must be crazy to find a way to butt in from far away." [i]A third one commented.[/i]

[i]Regil didn't know what to think of Willard. He didn't seem evil and was willing to help them with the volcano just earlier. He believed that, whatever the case may be, he was there to help them, not to trick them.[/i]

"Alright, enough talking. Let's follow him. Leave the Specialist be, before she pulls out the gun on one of you." [i]The pilot spoke.[/i]

[i]The helicopter followed Willard's jet as they went back to the others. While each had their own feelings about the situation, those who had their doubts couldn't do much, especially when harming Willard could signal treason to the United Kingdom... and they couldn't afford that.[/i]
