Skin Tone: Tanned and rough Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: She has multiple scars in random places all over her arms, back and chest. Most of them are old. Personal Style: Leah prefers to dress like she's ready to spend a few hours out of the house, and like she's prepared to fight somebody. She tends to wear thick layers with a lot of pockets, meaning cargopants are everywhere in her closet, and she is almost always seen with some sort of jacket on. There's not a lot of color in Leah's style, mostly gray, white and dark colors. Leah doesn't care much for looking fashionable as long as she's covered up in something. She is almost always seen wearing a pair of knee-length combat boots. Leah has not cut her hair in over three years, and therefore it extends all the way down to her knees. Probably? Relationship Status: Single Alignment: Chaotic Good Personality: Leah has always been somewhat tough to read. She often prefers to just deal with problems the hard way and not make any attempt to convey how the feels. Letting people in or opening up is hard for Leah, because she feels weak and insecure when others have to go out of their way to tend to her. Leah regularly puts on a brave face and treats herself like she's invincible. Not out of arrogance, but out of a desire to be as little of a burden to those around her as possible, and because she has unresolved, bitter feelings towards his past that she doesn't want others to know about. None of that means she doesn't care about others, though. In fact, Leah can be viscerally protective of others who are in a position where they can't protect themselves. The victimized, the weak, and wounded are people she feels great sympathy for. Beneath that stony exterior is a girl who feels conflicted towards herself. Deep down, Leah knows she can't deny where she came from, but refuses to acknowledge this and buries any trace of her home. Leah craves the act of living her own idea of being untouchable, she wants to be the strongest person in the world and build the highest walls because she's afraid of what could come back to haunt her. At the same time, Leah wants to be close to her friends, as much as possible, so she can be a part of their lives and be there for them when they may or may not need help. Even if she won't admit it to anyone, Leah is stuck between her insecurities and her own compassion for others. This can sometimes lead to self-destructive tendencies in which she exhausts herself to help people, but refuses to let them do anything in return. She can use this power to break rocks apart, change their shape, or even fuse geologic matter together on a molecular level. Despite having an earth-based power, Leah can't use her power on organic matter such as plants, and it doesn't apply to metal. If Leah were to use her power to pick up a rock that was 50% iron, she would only have 50% control over that rock.
Enhanced Strength: Leah is also very strong physically. Her power isn't exactly comparable to the Hulk, but she could easily pick up an adult horse and throw it over her shoulder without breaking a sweat. The most she has ever lifted is, in fact, an adult horse, which can weigh up to 2,000lbs. While her powers make Leah very strong, it doesn't mean she has superhuman durability. Leah could theoretically punch through a brick wall, and put a hole through it without difficulty, but she's still punching a brick wall, meaning her fist won't appreciate it when she has to receive medical attention. A side effect of these powers is that Leah's hair behaves like sandpaper. It's rough enough to the touch that it could break skin and cause bleeding if someone tried to grab her by the hair.
General World Skills:

Extensive Geology Knowledge
First Aid
Rock Climbing
Mental Calculations
Cooking
Good with Animals
Combat Skills:

Hand-to-hand combat
Battlefield manipulation
Area Denial
Coursework:

Traditional -

1 - Geology
2 - Physics
3- Algebra/Geometry
4 - History

Superheroics -

1- Hand-to-hand combat
2- Strategy
3- Power Training
4- Crisis Response

Medical Issues/Injuries: Undiagnosed anxiety problems

Possessions:

Backpack - Phone, earbuds, notebooks, pencils, a spare charger, and water. Once she was old enough to understand what a mutant was, he explained to her that she had superpowers. Leah didn't understand this at first, because it was strange that her father would know that before she displayed anything. Imperator explained that he ran a test shortly after her birth to "prepare for the inevitable." Two days later, they concluded she was a geokinetic, and possessed heightened physical abilities. Ultimately, someone else discovered Leah's powers for her. General History: Minimum 3 paragraphs describing your character's life so far. Mayra Pavon was born in southern Arizona as the child of a very bad man. Her life was relatively simple for most of her early childhood, except for her father being away on business trips a lot. Mayra's mother was a high school teacher, and her father was allegedly an account and lawyer for a large corporation. In hindsight, how he managed to do both seemed unbelievable, but neither was true. By the time Mayra reached the age of 12, her father had told her about his secret life, and her mutant genetics. He ran a test on her in his secret lab years ago, and planned for that day. Carlos Pavon told his daughter than he, too, was a mutant who went by the name Imperator. He was gifted with superhuman intellect, and had found a way to build things no other person could by applying this power to the field of engineering. Imperator was a high-profile mercenary who worked for people he did not disclose to Mayra, and wanted to bring her under his wing. His reasons were varied, but one of them was to teach her to control her new abilities. Mayra wasn't given a choice, and so for the next two years, she was trained extensively in close-quarters combat by a man who could outthink her every move five minutes in advance. It was painful, being knocked on her ass every time she attempted to make a single swing on him, and it put a massive strain on her relationship with both Imperator and her mother, who believed she was simply away with her father on business trips. She never fully understood why things had to be this way, and she eventually rebelled against him in an act of rage. One day when she was home, she confessed everything to her mother. Mayra told her everything, about her being a mutant, about the so-called training, even about Imperator's workshop. Unsurprisingly, she didn't believe most of that, but it didn't matter in the end, because Carlos Pavon came home just in time. When his wife questioned him, he didn't even react before he shot her. The whole house fell in on them. Imperator was a superhuman genius, but in his own hubris he failed to account for the possibility that Mayra's training had been more productive than he realized. There is nothing left of that house but a veritable mountain of stone and rubble. She ran, and ran, and ran. The rest is somewhat blurry in her mind, but she walked through the Arizona deserts for hours on her own, before eventually flying away on a rock when she came down from the emotional rollercoaster of watching her mother bleed out, and possibly burying her father alive. Mayra eventually found the Avenger's Academy, and used the opportunity to live a different life than what was destined for her. All she hopes now is that no one uncovers her history, or digs into legal records to see if her name is Leah or Mayra. Proposed Arcs: Write a list of ideas you have for character arcs, as these'll help the GM shape the RP. For example, maybe you want your character to discover that they aren't actually completely human after all, but one of their parents was a fairy from Otherworld! Or maybe your character has a lot of trauma in their past, and you'd like to see them heal and grow.

Wings of Terror | Leah won't admit this, but she's the daughter of a very cruel and opportunistic son of a bitch who goes by the name Imperator. He's been looking for her for a while, and the Arc I'm proposing involved Imperator eventually tracking her down, causing the secret to get out. This would shine some light on why Leah doesn't talk about her home at all, and would reveal the fact that "Leah Jordan" isn't actually her real name.
Battle of Heaven and Earth | On a less serious note, Leah calls herself Jotunn when she's doing superhero antics, and I think it would be hilariously ironic if she got into a fight with Zarina who happens to be an Asgardian. Maybe they simply don't get along or they end up developing a Steve Rodgers and Tony Stark dynamic, but it sounds funny in theory.
