Even in the small-ish space of the train, she couldn't get a good hit on the harpies. She swung her sword but missed. Her second swing hit. Her third and fourth missed. The harpy was still alive. If they could take out these last two, they might be able to escape. Niah figured the humans would assume that some giant birds had gotten into the dining car. Without any bodies, there wouldn't be any evidence to say otherwise.
