I think I somehow didn't comment on this but: 

I love the idea of having abilities assigned, it's something I've actually employed in a previous RP(though I kept the methods of choosing the player powers secret) 

I agree with Jumbus, that I'd like to know the power before locking down a cosmetic change. I only have a few ideas for it, right now, but might have more inspiration once I see what [i]you[/i] saw in the character. Sometimes the outside perspective can help.
