I was thinking on trying a NPC role?

I don't wanna take up a slot of the players, and seeing everyone here is very capable of posting entire pages of text, maybe this would suit me better.

I was thinking about being the ships mechanic and inventor.

Thinkering about on the ship and stuff, maybe even drawing up the entire ship and interior, en even updating it now and then.

Any interest in that?
