Though, part of her stayed aware of it. She did not like fire. There was the whole dead adoptive parents thing associated with it. Then her phone chirped. It was the special tone she had for her mom. So before even looking at her phone, she was groaning. "How about I meet you there? I need to grab something from my room." The thought of her mom being bored and left in the room suddenly seemed like a terrible idea. "I'll be quick. Meet you at the sword fighting, then after we get a turn there go for fortunes and then some cotton candy. Sound good?" She was mostly telling Zari, but the other two girls were included in her glance. She wasn't excluding them. This also meant she was going to have to walk around with the dang doll. There was no way anyone who was already snickering at her would let that slide. Why had she let herself be convinced to go back to high school? Sure she was technically seventeen but she didn't fit in here. Of course, there was finally a mutant school that wasn't a prison in disguise or owned exclusively by a rich white dude and she had been born twice as long ago as any of her classmates. Hating it all...except Zari, who made being here worth it. She left the trio of girls and went back to her room.
