Yet the darkness fell upon the land, no hero stepped forth to fight it with holy blade in hand and all of Hylia's dear children fell to despair. For no hero had come to save them and it was in that despair the hearts of others were inspired to fight for the light in protection of their once peaceful lands. Yet others saw this as reason to take advantage of those weaker than themselves in favor of the dark power that whispered sweet temptations to those who would do it's bidding for something in return...

It has been one year since the Gerudo King Ganondorf usurped the throne of Hyrule's royal family. You and everyone else have hoped and prayed that the fabled hero would step forward yet to the disappointment of many their hopes were replaced with anger and despair. Despite losing hope some felt compelled to action in hopes of saving themselves and others from the tyranny of Ganondorf, but some decided to bend a knee to the usurper and serve him as a slave to the dark powers he wields... You, live in this age of darkness and despair. Praying for a hero that never came, trying to survive in this dark parody of the world before. Monsters creep at the edges of villages, closer than they did in the age before. You may have come from Kakariko or fled there on a night you will never forget. Or do you look back to the past, and wish you had the power to do something? Or to have had the courage to persevere? Nay, you may have been wiser and saw that there was no point to fight. You ran and hid, waiting to come out of hiding when the dust settled. You could see there was something to be gained in this day and age, you are perceptive or rather that is what you call yourself. In your opinion, you are wise while others cannot see beyond their perceptions.

Please post your character sheet in the OOC for Gm/Co-Gm approval. The lower classes usually wear casual clothing; Hylian males tend to wear belted leather jerkins, and females wear long gowns in many different colors; Hyrulean symbols are often part of the embroidery in their dresses. Tall buns are common in women, while men of the working class usually wear broad-brimmed hats in order to protect their skin from the sun and the rain. Some men also wear knee-length leather boots. It has been observed that the higher classes including royalty wear complex and luxurious jewelry including precious metals and gemstones such as gold and rubies. Culture: Hylia's children have fallen on hard times, war and turmoil have changed their society to the point where they seem to have no structured society at all. Oncenthey lived pastoral lives, in a wide range of professions but with recent times there seems no place for commerce in such hard living.Though some would argue that it makes for easy pickings.
Goron Physical Description: The Gorons are a large, mountain-dwelling race, with sizes ranging from medium, tall, and even gigantic. Goron legs are short, especially in comparison to their much longer arms. Gorons typically live in or under mountain ranges of several countries, including mountains such as Death Mountain of Hyrule. Befitting with that of their habitat, their durable, round bodies greatly resemble that of stones and boulders, and nearly all Gorons have a hide of ridged stones on their backsides. They usually have light brown skin. They have small eyes and noticeable lips, which conceal unaligned, square teeth. Another common trait are their symbols in the shape of the Goron's Ruby tattooed to the sides of their arms, whether this is natural or not is unknown. Combined with their round shape, Gorons can also curl themselves into a ball shape and roll like a boulder Culture: Adept at living in non-mountainous regions; it is not uncommon to see Gorons come down from their mountain homes or even travel to faraway lands. Gorons possess immense strength which many are proud of, and many groups of Gorons like to hold competitions that test each other's physical strength. Groups of Gorons often live in close-knit communities within their home mountains, often led by an elder leader. Though recently all has been silent from the Goron of Death Mountain, no news of Darunia's whereabouts or the state of the mountain folk have been heard from for quite some time.
Gerudo Physical Description: Gerudo are known to have the following traits: dark skin, amber eyes, red hair, and a sharp bird-like nose. Their skin color, however, has been shown to come in two tones: a common light brown and an olive-greenish variation seen on Twinrova and Ganondorf. Gerudo vary between having round ears and pointed ears. Also known for their impressive stature, the average Gerudo often towers over the lesser races a fact of which they are proud of. Culture: A rather peculiar aspect of the Gerudo is that the race consists almost entirely of women, with a male being born only once every hundred years. This male is destined to become their king. When there is no male to be their king, the Gerudo are led by a chief with the position passed on from mother to daughter. The exact nature of this phenomenon is never explained. Generally, the Gerudo have been known to be a reclusive race that does not take well to outsiders on their territory,[hich in Hyrule constitutes the whole desert area. Though recently their people have been divided, some restless that their lot has been cast to rot in the cursed desert while their so-called king sits upon the Hylian throne and does nothing to improve the lives of his people. It is difficult to tell if those who still swear by the Gerudo King are doing so out of loyalty, it is often whispered their minds are being manipulated or do so for fear of the man that sits on Hyrule's throne. But it is safer that way at least for them to not interfere with the despot. And so the Gerudo stay in the confines of their desert sanctum.
Zora Physical Description: The Zora are an aquatic folk who possess fish and amphibian like traits, including fins, webbed feet and gills, which allow them to swim and thrive underwater. Zora can come in many shapes and sizes, but are most commonly depicted as humanoids with long tail fins on their heads and finned appendages on their arms and legs. Most individuals (but not all) have fins attached to their limbs and a tail at the back of their head, making their head alone resemble a fish. However, Zora also come in various shapes and sizes, with some lacking the head fin and others, like King Zora, having a rotund appearance. Some Zora possess fins that greatly resemble the folds of clothing. Culture: Zora are normally found in or near large bodies of water, but very rarely stray far away from them. In Hyrule, Zora live in the Zora's Domain, a large cavernous fountain that is connected to the Zora River, which flows directly to Lake Hylia; it is common to see Zora within these areas as well. Zora, however, do not solely live in fresh water, but can also thrive in salt water. Zora are known to have long lifespans, Zora children age in such a way where even as young adults they can still appear to be children before reaching a growth spurt. As Zora age, they hold themselves to higher standards of speaking as a matter of pride. Zora have a strong sense of duty for history and order. Because they do not travel far from sources of water and are protective of Zora's Domain, they have limited interaction with other races. Of late the Zora have been even more xenophobic of outsiders, especially the Gerudo. Currently it is rumored the Zora Domain is suffering from some ill curse upon their home. The Zora believe this is because Lord Jabu-Jabu is displeased and this ill that has befallen their home is the deed of cavorting with outsiders. Thus King Zora has decreed the way to the Domain shut to the other people of Hyrule.

1.)
