Standing at 5'10" Meki has a slender figure much alike most of her people. Her tail resembles a dolphin's, her back half and legs are a navy blue while her front half is akin to the sky during a light drizzle. She has aqua coloured fins from the outsides of her wrists and heels. Akin to her Gurudo brethren Zora, and by extension Meki, wear very minimal clothing as anything extra on the body makes navigating the waters a lot harder. She does have silver braces and a chest plate she used to only really use when going into battle or dangerous territory but as Ganondorf took reign and the danger of darkness has taken the land to has found herself wearing these more frequently. Her weapon of choice is her ornate silver spear. Once upon a time it was a fishing spear and only used for that purpose but as fighting became more of a necessity the head got swapped out for one of a weapon spear. Gender: Female Race: Zora Background: For as long as Meki can remember the prophecy of a time of darkness and a great hero to destroy it had been foretold. In a flourishing Hyrule, the idea of something taking all peace away seemed none other than impossible. Some believed it was for so far in the future it was far beyond the time of the current Zora, some believed it wouldn't impact them in Hylia Lake while others believed it was false whether it be twisted the wrong way or altogether a fallacy. Meki wasn't sure where she stood on the prophecy but she never thought that would matter. Meki's formative years were rather non-eventful. Her father, Driel, worked making fishing spears and nets while her mother, Calyle, directly serves the Zora princess. From a young age Meki learned the skill of fishing and by the time she was in her adolescence she play a key role in ensuring her people's food supplies. It was a simple job at most but it meant she got to spend a good chunk of her day swimming around and exploring more of the lake. All that changed when Hyrule fell to Ganondorf. Initially, the Zora didn't feel an impact from the usurp but soon enough more monsters made their home closer and closer to the Zora's domain and suddenly their attacks became more frequent. Going outside their protected home for fish quickly became more and more dangerous. Meki's team soon dwindled in numbers, some were injured badly from attacks, a few were killed, some were scared out of the job. With the increasing danger very few wanted to join the effort leaving more stress on the small team still relied on to ensure the domain's food supplies. In this time Meki had her father swap her fishing spear's head for one of a formal fighting spear and attempted to fight back against their attackers while others fished, yet, she was still witnessing many of her crew become injured. She pleaded with the king to do something more permanent, call in reinforcements, enforce guard duty, send a group to the castle. Something. Alas, nothing was done, there was little that could be. The Zora population, once cynical of the prophecy, had held onto its very words. TheL prayed and waited for the hero of light to emerge but they never did. Eventually, the Zorans tried to weaponize themselves the best they could. Guards trained all residents in the art of fighting and Meki's dad went from making humble fishing supplies to weaponry. Just shy of a year into the new world her domain was running short in metal and Meki and her sister from the same clutch of eggs journeyed to Kakariko Village to retrieve supplies but in seeing the corruption of these new world Meki became more inspired to take a stand so her sister returned to Hylia lake alone with the new supplies while Meki sought out the wisdom of Kakariko's people and perhaps others on the quest to end Ganondorf's reign.
