Rowan sat on her bed, backpack at her feet and her favourite jacket beside her. And she waited. Rowan wasn't very good at being patient but she knew if she wanted this to work, she needed to wait. Roe quietly opened her bedroom window and shimmed down the drainpipe on the wall of her foster home. Her boots hit the floor and she took in a deep breath or warm air. She could feel it, that pull.
