Zach's childhood in Tanner was anything but idyllic. His parents were both warlocks, and were somewhat shocked that they had managed to birth a witch. Not that they really cared. Zach wasn't a planned birth, and was the result of a very drunken night of love. As such growing up, Zach was left mostly to his own devices, being left at the Coven to learn magic so he was out of his parents way.

Moving into High School, he took odd jobs to make himself more independent and provide some funds. He bought a guitar and began to learn it, spending weekends busking in the park. While he wasn't a bad person per se, his relaxed personality, attracted a certain kind of bully, and Zach had no issue going toe to toe with them and laying them out. He gained a reputation as a brawler who didn't care who he fought.

As he entered his later teen years he began to explore his sexuality, and settled on not being picky. So long as he got his every night, he didn't care where he got it from. If someone had anything bad to say about it, they could gladly eat an fist. He ended up keeping a little black book, where he detailed and rated all the people he slept around with and their numbers. 

Deciding that college might be of some use, he decided to enroll at Olympia while studying for a music degree. Unlike his fellow Tanner members, Zach stayed the course and got a degree in the musical arts. Suffice to say he did spend way too much time partying and sleeping around, practicing his flirting on any guy or gal that would reciprocate it back.

Returning to Tanner was the last thing he wanted to do. But the message from Carlisle to return to the coven pulled him back. He doesn't know how to feel about coming back. With his reputation, and some of the state he left relationships in before his retreat to college.

Zach's personality is marked by aggression, self-centeredness, and a lack of control over his emotions. He is someone who tends to act impulsively and without much consideration for the consequences of his actions. At the core of Zach's personality is his aggressiveness. He has a tendency to be confrontational and combative, and he often responds to even minor conflicts with a disproportionate level of anger and hostility. This makes him difficult to work with and even harder to be around.

Zach is also extremely self-centered, and he tends to view the world through the lens of how it affects him personally. He has little patience for other people's needs or concerns, and he often prioritizes his own desires over the needs of others. This can make him come across as callous and insensitive. For him everything is about self enjoyment. He has no issue going from one night stand to one night stand.

Zach struggles with controlling his emotions. He is prone to outbursts of anger and frustration, and he has a difficult time regulating his emotions in stressful situations. This can make him unpredictable and difficult to trust, as people never quite know how he will react to a given situation.

Overall, Zach is a challenging personality to deal with. His aggression, self-centeredness, and lack of emotional control make him a volatile and unpredictable presence in any group or social setting. While he may possess certain talents as a witch, his difficult personality often undermines his ability to form strong connections with others or work effectively in a team.

Zach's biggest flaw is his selfishness. Everything he does stems from his desire to please himself. Therapists would say that he seeks self pleasure to make up for the lack of love he received as a child. In reality, he just wants to enjoy himself.

His explosive anger makes interactions with him extremely tense, as it can be really difficult to work out how he will react. To him, violence is always the answer, and the more violence the better. friendships with him can be strained, and anyone willing to be friends with either has to be really understanding, or be willing to roll with his punches, sometimes literally.

Zach is impulsive. Thinking about things isn't his strong suit, fitting into his might makes right attitude. It isn't that he can't focus and think things through, it is just he prefers not to. If he is not in control of a situation, he will do what he needs to do to take control, often putting him at odds with any authority figures.
