On the surface, they're quite different. Jub would definitely find Flicker a bit of stick-in-the-mud, while Flicker would dislike Jub's pompousness and his desire to show off. However, more than that, they actually have a lot of similarities. Both of them have low self-esteem, have felt out of place among their own people, they both want to be close to others but fear appearing emotional vulnerability due to dealing with bullying, they both struggle with anxieties and irritability. They'd recognize that and probably feeling pretty annoyed with each other very quickly.
