Delbrook is the first one he's stayed at consecutively for since the second grade. He's been attending D.A. since sophomore year, nearly having gotten kicked out within the first couple of months until his father paid off the school to keep him in. Benny has always had a hard life. With a family that is deeply rooted in the Sureños [sub](a.k.a. Southern United Raza, Sur13, Sureños x13)[/sub], a group that loosely pays tribute to the Mexican Mafia that holds affiliations with the Gulf Cartel, Benny is always sure to keep his head down. At least enough so that there are not cops involved, though he has no problem with (and rather enjoys) getting into fights... Though he is not officially in the gang, his father has big plans for him and keeps him up to date on the happenings of it all. It's expected that Benny will be initiated in, and the thought (privately) terrifies Benny, but he keeps on a fake face for his father and does what is asked of him. Ezra does not talk about his home life and doesn't like people knowing where he lives. Sarcastic and Utterly Blunt: Mak doesn’t mince words. She comes out and says exactly what she feels, regardless of social graces and conventions. She doesn’t have time for niceties.

Cunning: Mak knows how to pull an ace out of her sleeve when she needs it. She’s very observant and can size up people quickly. Like when dealing with the jocks, she’s smart enough to know that their arrogance is a weakness and will play it against them. 

Contemplative and Broken: In a lot of ways, Mak considers herself broken. She sees herself as 'damaged goods'. If you knew her past, you'd understand why, but she doesn't open up [I]that far[/i] to anyone. You'd have to catch her in an extremely vulnerable moment for it to even come out of her.

Bastard with a Heart of Gold: To a lot of people, Mak comes off as an asshole. She prefers this, because it doesn’t allow people to get close. She doesn’t like anyone getting close, because she’s afraid of losing more people she cares about. Mak cares, and she cares deeply. She likes to help people in need, as she has no issue putting herself in others shoes and feeling for them and their situation. Though sometimes she has to hold herself back and let things run its course, as she's been burned before while helping people out and she's damned tired of the games people play with her.
