Whether it was the distance I had gotten or enough shadows for the darkness for them to not see my saber stabbed into their chest - I twisted to a slink and snared the lunge into an upperslash out of their body, and with my right arm that pulled out the other saber I sliced off his head. The body hit my stance, but I didn't kick it away with my movement, but it wasn't a brace either. Just standing bravely. It heaped to the ground. I removed my position from it's death and turned into the shadows, sheething my sabers as I went.
