[indent]Isabella can come off as shy and introverted, at least when you first meet her. She doesn’t talk much and just seems to let things play out. However, when you actually get to know her she is more of an ambivert, good luck getting her to stop talking if she views you as someone she trusts. She is deeply caring, never wanting anyone to feel unwanted or unloved. She is quick to stand up for others but often forgets that she deserves to not be walked over just like everyone else. 

She can sometimes come off as untrusting and stand-offish at first. Especially when she is trying to figure out if someone is worth being a part of her life. She is careful not to end up in a similar situation she managed to escape.[/indent]

[color=b11226][b]| BACKGROUND (Abuse and manipulation trigger warnings)|[/b][/color]
[indent]Isabella was born Ashely Harrison. She grew up in a home that honestly, didn’t care about her. She was the youngest of 3 children and as such was generally forgotten, until someone was angry. She was the result of an affair between her mother and an unknown man, and ultimately the reason her parents split, at least that’s what her mother and siblings told her. As a result she didn’t grow up with the best confidence. She was the punching bag of her household, sometimes quite literally. 

The abuse, both mental and physical, resulted in her self harming and eventually, on several occasions, attempting to end her own life. It’s not a time she likes to talk about. So when she started dating a guy in HS and he suggested she move in with him when they graduated she took the opportunity to get away, little did she know it would be just as bad after they moved in together. The once sweet man she knew turned into a controlling jerk. He never laid his hands on her but he did control most aspects of her life, where she could work, where she could go to school, who her friends were, ect. She had nowhere to go, he controlled her money also. It wasn’t until a co-worker who offered to help her get out of the situation that she even realized what it was. That co-worker was her wake-up call. Her secret confidant, the one thing in her life she had a choice in. Her boyfriend had no clue. 

Swiftly her and the co-worker had saved enough money for her to change her name and move states all in one quick motion. Ashley Harrison was no more, and now Isabella Regal lived in California, with a new number, a new address and a new life. One she intended to do better with. She started going to therapy where she was finally able to work on herself and discover her voice. Now, 4 years later she is doing better than she ever was before and still working on improving herself. [/indent]
