The fighting retreat of the attackers continues with three more of them breaking off to help get the unconscious Yosef away too. One of them fights to push Jørmund away from his position over Yosef, while the other two work together to stabilize Yosef and carry him away. Once they are ready to move, the attacker who shoved Jørmund and the attackers carrying Jørmund make to join the retreating forces.

Meanwhile, the attacker fighting Cascade feints and uses the momentary distraction of his opponent to also join the retreat. By now, every attacker across the battlefield has broken off and is now falling back to the trees from whence they came. Upon seeing this, a cry goes up among the highwaymen. "THEY'RE RUNNING AWAY! WE'VE WON!" This cry is followed by joyous cheering as the highway men begin celebrating, content to let their foes run for the forest.

The attacker fighting Cascade disengages and retreats 30 feet.

The attacking forces begin to retreat in earnest.

The highwaymen choose not to pursue.
