Where I started was point A. Where the ideals my dad had are point B. *Holds up a finger on each hand* I was at A, and had B, but there was nothing in my mind that connected the dots between them. So it was just nonsense to me, for a long time. But as I made friends, and became attached to various people and things in the world, I slowly made progress toward it- *Moves my fingers closer together as I speak until they touch* Until bam. One day it clicked. The ideals and philosophies became important to me, because I had found people and places that were important to me.
