Since I've joined this forum I've noticed a lot of things I am not familiar with as a long time RPer that wasn't ever used on other forums. For example;

I've noticed a lot of people use FxM etc in their looking for interest posts, which I figured out what it meant over time. 

I've also noticed that many people seem to be horny smut writers only . 

What happened to old fashioned meet and greet in a thread characters? I know that's what the tavern is for ;) but I've just had kind of a shock of new since joining.
