He stepped into the room housing the hostages on his side of the floor and said, "Attention, ladies and gentlemen, if you could please make your way down to the first floor, there's a moderately famous magic man waiting there to keep you safe! Yes, I know how that sounds, but you can trust me!" The hostages looked at each other for a moment before they filed out of the room. Once the last person was gone, Talos followed them out and to the stairwell. He watched them descend the stairs, then turned to the door. Placing his hand on it, he fused the mechanism on the inside of the panic bar on the other side of the door, effectively locking it. "I'll try to remember to fix that after we're done here," he told himself, though he knew full well that was unlikely. He began to ascend once more, passing by the third floor as he made his way straight to the fourth. As before, he opened a small hole on the fire door and peeked through, only to be surprised by what he saw in the room. He slowly opened the door and looked around. Cubicles were destroyed, office supplies and equipment had been broken and scattered everywhere. He heard someone groaning and stepped farther in to find the burglars that had been guarding the floor, bloodied and broken, but alive. Vincent spread his wings, then condensed them into three pairs of swords that floated around him, his instincts telling him that whatever did this to these men was nothing he wanted to go easy on. "Hey, Talos, here," he said over the comms, surprisingly serious. "Found a couple more bad guys, beaten to within an inch of their lives. Still breathing, though. The fourth floor's a mess, but other than that, there's no sign of who or whatever did this." Just then, he heard noise coming from a nearby room and aimed his swords at the closed door. He walked up and opened the door to find the hostages, terrified but okay. Relaxing, he continued, "Found the hostages. They're scared, but they don't look any worse for wear." To the hostages, he said, "I need you guys to make your way to the first floor. Your coworkers are all there with one of my friends keeping them safe." As the hostages made their way to the stairwell, Vincent asked, "What, now? Should I start looking for whatever's doing our job for us?"
