They have grown closer than ever during the previous summer, However with the return of Miles, his paranoia came back, and he was desperate to try and close the deal. It backfired big time, and now a rift stands between them.[/right][/cell]

Carlisle can be petty, but Serena gives as good as she gets. She is confident enough in her abilities, something Carlisle lacks. Things were great until Miles reached his skirt chasing phase, and the cracks started to show. Miles regularly whisked away or snapped up any girl Carlisle showed interest in. In college they shared a dorm room and Carlisle was regularly ‘asked’ to sit out in the corridor while Miles entertained his latest girl. Still Miles has defended Carlisle multiple times against bullies and they are still close. Secretly, Carlisle is worried about Lilith and Miles being close again given his crush on her.[/right][/cell]

He was under intense pressure from Serena and wasn’t able to shield Delaney in time, causing her to get hit by a fireball. Since then, the woman hasn’t thought highly of his abilities.[/right][/cell]

Carlisle still feels terrible for Miles having to do that, and squarely lays the blame at Zach’s feet.[/right][/cell]
