Kasper
GENERAL Who I Am: This mercenary has been called many things. Things that would cause you to assume they're a vile and cruel person. Diablo, Deadeye, Psycho. But there was one name that stuck. A name which wasn't given to them through legendary story. A name they preferred. Kasper. Titled after the friendly cartoon ghost, it is said that, much like a ghost, Kasper is prone to popping up randomly and scaring the ever living shit out of their associates. Despite their intimidating and ghostly persona, Kasper has been described as somewhat socially awkward by those who speak with them on a personal level, saying they clearly avoid excessive interaction with others not out of hatred, but due to simple social ineptness. Kasper prefers to keep their private life.. private. It is unknown where they are from or who they truly are. However, there are some hints to these things, seen in small things from their accent, which shows them to be of Russian descent, to much larger clues such as a children's drawing folded into a pouch on their utility belt. In the drawing, a younger girl in a green dress is illustrated, drawn in pastel crayon, a stark contrast to the figure she's seen holding hands with, who appears to be drawn in Charcoal; Rough and scratchy. The face of said figure has been smudged, either intentionally or accidentally. Romantic Interests: It is unknown whether or not Kasper has or will ever be romantically involved or interested in someone. They're not totally against the idea, however.
As seen in the images below, Kasper prefers to keep their identity as much of a mystery as possible. From their gender, to their name, to even what they look like. It's all a mystery. Whether this is a simple preference, something due to insecurity, or the safety of themselves and others, isn't clear. They can often times be seen wearing a ragged, black cloak, reaching from the top of their head and falling down towards their ankles. Underneath the cloak, lies an array of weapons and tactical gear, the most totable being their combat knife, often used during things like stealthy takedowns, or even opening a can. For noise reduction, they got a little.. Artsy and crafty, wrapping their boots up in some duct tape, to dampen the sound of their foot steps. It doesn't do much, though it can make sneaking around just a little easier. They're clearly not the most fashionable of people. They tend to stick to themselves, unless prompted to do otherwise by another person. Basically, they will not speak unless they absolutely must, or if they were spoken to. If they are ever to speak around you in a casual setting, you may notice nervous speech patterns that contrast starkly with their dangerous persona. Mumbling, some stuttering, lots of ' ums ' and ' uhs '. That sort of thing. When around someone they are close with, They become less anxious and more relaxed, maybe even becoming somewhat playful or humorous. Likes: There isn't much about Kasper that shows them liking anything, really. However, the drawing they carry around can make one assume they must enjoy art, or being given art. Along with this, there are some rare moments where they'll express an affinity towards leopards of all sorts. Perhaps that's what they adopted their stealthy fighting style. Dislikes: Kasper's dislikes are much more obvious than their likes. One of their most prominent dislikes, is being touched by anyone who isn't an extremely close friend. If you ask first, then it lessens their annoyance, but just randomly touching them will result in a not-so-happy merc. This also goes hand and hand with their items. Unless they say you can touch it, you really should not. Another dislike would be being asked about who they are, or what they look like. If they like you enough, they may give a first name, maybe the color of their eyes, maybe a sneak at their tattoos. But getting their mask off requires them to trust you a lot. Other than that, you'll have to pry it off their cold, dead face. LIFESTYLE Occupation: Kasper falls under the category of a mercenary, though the jobs they accept don't necessarily have to involve killing off someone for some change. They have been known to accept all sorts of jobs, from protecting someone, to picking up groceries. As long as you pay them well, they'll do whatever you ask of them, with reasonable boundaries, of course. Skill set/Fighting Style: Kasper has unintentionally mastered the art of stealth. Though they are not the weakest of people, they damn sure aren't the strongest. Especially with larger targets, They prefer to take them down as quiet and quick as possible, not wanting to give their prey a fighting chance. If there is no option for a stealthy takedown, Kasper is no stranger to fighting erratically, hoping that, if they are to die, they at least take someone down with them.
