Tall for a girl her age, Hayakawa possesses the build of one used to physical activity. She's lean and lithe, in fit shape but without considerable musculature or bulk. Hayakawa regularly wears a scowl on her face, combined with sharp facial features set on clear and clean skin, and amber eyes. Hayakawa dresses in street fashion when possible, and takes good care of her personal appearance, though not as meticulously as others might. Her dark hair is usually tied into a ponytail and she is almost always seen with her sticker covered hover board. She wears her 'signature' red bomber jacket at any opportunity, even over her school uniform. 

[color=firebrick][b]PERSONALITY:[/b][/color]
Confident, though not quite to the point of arrogance, and generally collected, Hayakawa carries herself with the air of someone steady and sure of themselves. Occasionally stubborn, and prone to being a bit hot-headed, with a rebellious streak a mile long and blatant disregard for authority, Hayakawa has earned a reputation within the academy of being a bit of a delinquent. She's loyal to a fault towards those who have earned her trust, even if she doesn't always agree with or even like them at the time. Hayakawa values freedom and hates being restricted, and has a tendency to lash out when she feels trapped.

[color=firebrick][b]SHORT BIOGRAPHY:[/b][/color] 
Born an only child, Hayakawa's parents separated shortly after she was born, and after a few years of struggling on his own, Hayakawa's father passed her along to her paternal grandmother to raise. Her grandmother did her best, and meant well, but the family was always busy and short on money, and the older lady was never able to keep up with a growing child. As a result, Hayakawa spent most of her time away from the house, getting lost in whatever she found herself in at the time, from gaming, to graffiti, hover board joyriding, skipping curfew and generally causing trouble. 

While bright enough as an individual, Hayakawa never paid much attention in school. Scraping by with her education, only barely making it into Izumi Academy, Hayakawa has managed to claw herself back from the brink and regularly scores smack dab in the middle of the pack nowadays. A bit notorious for her poor relationship with school faculty, Hayakawa has gotten into trouble with the police more than once throughout her school career. Her poor reaction to the rumor mill and trouble with authority have earned her the perception of a delinquent and bully. 

Doing her best to ignore the perceptions of others, Hayakawa spends her days interacting with the few people she actually cares about and skating through school, using socializing and gaming as a coping mechanisms. As paying for University is well outside of her grandmother's meager means, and the fact that she is expected to carry on the family traditions whether she wants to or not, Hayakawa's future remains a constant source of  turmoil and dread. 

[color=firebrick][b]TRIVIA:[/b][/color]
Hayalawa's grandmother runs one of the few Shinto temples left in Yokohama, which she is expected to inherit the running of when she gets older. While not an ardent practitioner herself, several of her grandmother's superstitions have rubbed off on Hayakawa. 

Somewhere on the temple grounds, Hayakawa ran into a small black tuxedo cat and the critter has followed her everywhere ever since. Hayakawa has named him Merlin. 

Hayakawa will take her hover board everywhere she goes, regularly using it instead of public transportation. The piece is highly modified. 

Hayakawa's most recent obsession is biolight grafitti tagging. More easily cleaned off than regular paint, but bathes the streets in bioluminescent neon lights. 

[color=firebrick][b]OTHER:[/b][/color] Hayakawa's game of choice are typically games falling into the JRPG genre and old Final Fantasy games.
