After twelve seconds of huffing and straining, Brutrumukk stopped to catch his breath. But despite the lack of visible progress on bending the cage bars, he did have something to show for it. The bugbear could tell that he'd be able to bend the bars. But expending vast amounts of energy on an extreme effort wouldn't work. He realized he needed to go slow and steady, finding the right bars and exerting on them in the right places. It would take a few minutes, but he'd get the job done so long as he had the time to do so. And so once he'd finished taking his breather, Brutrumukk went to work.
