Looking at the palm filled hand of Anath, she gratefully took the seeds from her new friend. Looking at them closely in her own palm, she smiled. “No need for apologies for not knowing my family name, it is very old and probably forgotten.” Turning in time to see Corbin sliding in next to her, his statement of meeting yet another vampire twice in one night. It must have been truly astonishing to him, as it wasn’t to her. Although it wasn’t that rare to her, Zafira often kept to herself on purpose. Time to time she would find fledglings from other nests, vampires turned by older vampires looking to grow families or covens. “Thank you Anath, I appreciate the gesture. I agree, life needs death, and vice versa.. It is how the cycle continues.” Carefully placing the seeds into a small pouch tied to her side, she pulled the string closing it tightly. Turning ever so slightly towards Corbin studying him a moment, she answered him. “I partake in rum.” She couldn’t say it had much to do with her new friend or it was just mere coincidence that Corbin had run into two other vampires this evening. Oh yes, Zafira was clearly aware of them when she had entered the tavern, but mingling with her own kind was low on her totem pole of things to do. She had always found many of her kind so archaic, and stuck in their past. Lifting her cup to her lips once more, the fireworks presented to her by the rum touching her tongue sparked again. Moving the liquid around in her mouth carefully allowing it to touch every taste bud, she swallowed. “Anath, what brings you to a place like this? “ [@chris488] [@Crimson Crusade]
