He frowns as he watches what's going on, before reminding himself that he needs to keep going. Just because no guards have shown up yet, doesn't mean they won't. The hallways seem to be endless, dragging on and on, bending and turning seemingly at random. He keeps listening to any possible sound, but there is nothing but the eerie quiet of a deserted ruin, which while welcome at the moment promises bigger problems later on. There was no way in heaven or in hell that the humans who had captured him would just leave him behind, that wasn't like them. ... And whatever he had taken with him from his cell, she didn't seem to be something they would give up that easily, either. The lights had fully cocooned her now, visible yet sheer, and the rosy color coming back into her cheeks making her look so much more alive already. Finally, another staircase upwards, and beyond it, another corridor, but this time littered with doors. And noises. So someone was here after all.
