Aerros was born on Kalee a year before the end of the clone wars. Kalee became a target of the Empire after the Clone Wars due to its ties to the Separatists. Aerros's parents joined the Kaleesh Resistance, which was formed to fight Empire's hold over their world. When he was eleven, things changed for the worse for Aerros and his family. At this point, the Kaleesh Resistance had held out against the Empire for ten years. The current Imperial General in charge of the Imperial forces was frustrated that nothing was working and decided on a very different course of action. He ordered the planet to be leveled with Star Destroyers, and the bombardment killed most of the Resistance, along with many civilian casualties. The Kaleesh Resistance died after the bombardment, with many of its members dead, and the Empire had total control of the world. Aerros and his father were among the few Resistance survivors and were devastated at the loss of his mother, along with most of the people that he knew. 

Aerros's father wanted to keep fighting, but he was concerned about Aerros's safety. Despite wanting to keep fighting, Aerros's father decided that he would focus on raising his son, and the two would leave Kalee. Aerros and his father would live under the radar for years, never staying in a single place for long. During this time that Aerros further saw the Empire's malice, and it further his desire to see the Empire be taken down. Aerros was also taught by his father how to fight and would use these skills while growing up. In 2 BBY, when was eighteen was when he finally joined the Rebellion and served as a rebel soldier.  Aerros would go on multiple missions for the rebels and would rise to be a sergeant around the time of the Battle of Jakku. After the end of the war was when Luke Skywalker approached Aerros and told him that he was force-sensitive. Luke offered to train Aerros as a Jedi, and Aerros at first was not sure. He would later accept and be trained under Luke. Now after five years, Aerros is ready to train the next generation of Jedi though, he harbors a special hatred for the Empire still.[/hider]
