Looking to the man as he began to explain. Iris reached out shaking his hand and introduced herself. [color=lightblue][b]"Dr. Iris Lambert."[/b][/color] She listened to him start into what had happened, and slowly stopped with her box of lab equipment as Edward talked about the precursor attack that was likely the cause of the rough jump. When he mentioned being on a habitable planet Iris felt stopped completely, and turned her full attention to Edward, almost dropping the box she was working with. 
[color=lightblue][b]"Did you say they already made contact with [i]inhabitants[/i] on this planet?"[/b][/color] Iris seemed almost angry about hearing this news. [color=lightblue][i]Why would they have not woken me up during first contact? That is my job.[/i][/color] With a sharp sigh and roll of her eyes Iris set the box down on one of the counters. [color=lightblue][b]"I am sorry to come and go so quickly, but I need to report to Captain..."[/b][/color] Iris paused a moment, going to retrieve her tablet while trying to remember her briefing from before being put on ice, but most of her finer memory was still recovering from cryo-sleep. [color=lightblue][b]"...Kadıoğlu, about a few things now. Thank you for letting me know what is actually going on."[/b][/color] Iris gave a slight smile and nod to Edward that was quickly replaced with a stern look of disappointment as she made her way out of the lab and began heading to the ship's bridge.
